If you do and live in a hot weather climate then running the synth gear oil would be a valid option.
I would recommend Mobil 1 gear oil.
I have thought about trying it out this spring. I'm due for a fluid change (2 years) anyway.
BTW - I finally answered the original topic question in my last post.
2.6qt & 2qts respectively.
