Yes there is, at least for a while. The system holds pressure with a check valve in the fuel line.

Let it sit long enough and eventually trhe pressure would drop.

But, you have been warned, be careful or risk being sprayed in the eyes with fuel = pain and possible blindness!

i can always remove the fuel pump fuse and start the car till theres no fuel in the line. right??
