Try emailing him if you haven't. That's what I finally did and it works much better. I don't think NorCal looks on here as much anymore. I think he told me his sales at initial velocity email addy goes straight to his pager.

Wait, so the fixed hoods are out now, or did you just get a non-fixed hood?? SZ is getting close and I'm getting anxious.

I got a blemished hood. I guess if you had a show car I'd run the non blemished hood. I drilled a new mount hole in the latch and bolted it up. It took awhile to get the hood to latch. The Hood is thick and rigid!!! It doesn't flex anymore then the stock steel hood and its hella light.
