I'll give it another week, if no news then i'll settle for a fiberglass....if I can't have a fiberglass then I want my money back.

You know i have been very quite, since this was none of my business, but since you decided to stick your noise into something that is not your business, im going to chime in.
1) i don't care if i get flamed for this but NORCAL and Dev are personal friends of mine....and i know there doing the best they can with te situation the manufacture has put them in.
2) i am hounding them myself to find out when they are going to get there, casue i want my CF hood too....I got the first Fiberglass hood, but i want the CF instead, so im getting that one now.
3) you ask anyone in Norcal that has met NORCAL and Dev and they all would call them respectful and honest...Personaly i can understand how everyone feels, becasue he vents to me pretty much on a daily basis how the manufature has pissed them off with this situation.
You should lean to keep your mouth shut, and stop trying to start a flame war.....Like Norcal said in a previous post, everyone who wanted a refund got there money back, hey paied out 1800 dollars almost...you don;t see these people complaining that they got screwed do you??????
No because he satisfied them.

i havent been following this post and now there are waaay too many threads to catch up on. i just want to pipe in and mention something. there is a company(?)(a CEG'er?) from Los Angeles selling CF hoods on ebay. i contacted them about a cowl hood. they said they have and sent the same pics i have seen in here. they quoted me the SAME price that is supposed to be the GB "deal" in here. $425 for the hood and $99 to ship. they said i could even pick up in person to avoid shipping. i thought this was a little coincidental but then i noticed that the person rep-ing the GB in here is from Norcal. i obviously dont know where his source is from but is it this company on ebay? a separate supplier with the same sample pics? a faker trying to rip people off? (no offense to nor cal, i dont know if you know the supplier personally). i just thought id mention this. hope everything works out for everyone.

#1 these are not Cowl hoods, there vented hoods....You would have found that out if you were part of the GB since the beginign.
#2 this is not an E-bay company...if you were around from the beginging you would know this is AreoGear....You would have also known that Areogear switched manufaturers in the middle of production, withch contributed to the delay of the hoods.
#3 i have the prototype hood on MY car so this is not fake like you suggest.I can take pics of the hood on my car with my camera phone and e-mail it to you....Also if you were around since the begining, you would see the original pics were posted on here.
Last, everything you just mentioned, had you been around since the begining, has been brough up in one form or another, and has been answered in one form or antother.
Not trying to be mean,but your posting while not having all the infomation,.....which you could by just skimming (not reading all) the posts that have been posted and which would have prevent you, IMO looking like a jerk.
Right now lets leave it to the people who are directly involved, to get this strighten out...also to not clutter the post with useless infomation.
right now people that have requested refunds have gotten it. And people taht are still waiting like myself, are still waiting for the hoods.

lupe Thanks for backing up Norcal and Devious. I have very good friends that stand by them both and so do I. I know they are not a scam becuase of other GB's on NECO...I've been previously involved with. they are stand up guys trying there best.....if not I'll get a one way ticket out there and hunt them down

like i have posted before.....there is NO problem with NORCAL and Dev...it is with AEROGEAR themselves. they cant figure out their right foot from the left. its the manufacturer that is the problem in this situation not the guys who set up the actual group buy and are "representing" aerogear.

considering Norcal is one of my best friends i know he wont screw us!! if he screws with our (i mean my money too) money,i will personaly show you where he is...no need to hunt.
But since we hang out almost everyday, and i see how hard hes working on this and how stressed he is about this, its hard for me to see people posting bull [censored] like this...I can understand people who were involed since the begining beging frustated with it and posting about it....but poeple who were not involved really have no right to make assumptions.

If you have purchased your slot in this GB from somebody else, you need to discuss your refund with them. They are your seller, not us. So far I'm going to have about 10 damn CF hoods sitting in my freakin' living room.   Disclaimer: This hood is NOT for sale on eBay. We have an EXCLUSIVE MANUFACTURING CONTRACT with Wayson USA, LLC (dba Aerogear) for this hood. It will not be available in carbon fiber by anyone else until we end our contract.

Yikes... this place blows UP when we're not able to post things... I'm sorry I've started school again everybody, but that means that I've been unable to get on the net long enough to post anything in the past few days (especially since I go to school full time, while working two jobs) BUT!!! I have spoken to our rep though, and he tells me the manufacturer has told him that the hoods are on the next container already
