The hoods will use the stock latch, so no you don't -need- hood pins.

That said, HOWEVER, let me tell you.

I've had several friends who drive a little fast on the freeway have 'accidents' with their CF hoods. See, the CF hoods are light, much lighter than stock. And at high speed, the air flow can cause the hood to come unlatched and flip open, slamming into your windshield and making it impossible for you to see forward. I personally RECOMMEND hood pins after seeing what has happened to several friend's cars, but the stock hood latch will maintain the hood at normal driving speeds (65mph and under). In any case, you won't need to worry since we'll be providing the hood pins for free.
