Well, we have some good news.

Our CF IMRC covers have arrived in the states, which means the CF hoods can't be too far off- they were put in for manufacture not too long after the CF covers.

In addition, the new factory they're working with doesn't take a month off for Chinese New Years, and has a much tighter production schedule, so we should see things whipping along just fine.

At the very least, I'm going to make sure we can throw in free hood pins with every hood purchase... all you guys have to do is tell me if you want silver or gunmetal. I'm working on what else we can do for you for your trouble waiting, but as you can see from the picture of our CF IMRC covers, the hoods should be a SUPERB quality.



If the IMRC covers came out this good, imagine what the hoods will look like.

Are the hoods going to need hood pins?

The hoods will use the stock latch, so no you don't -need- hood pins.

That said, HOWEVER, let me tell you.

I've had several friends who drive a little fast on the freeway have 'accidents' with their CF hoods. See, the CF hoods are light, much lighter than stock. And at high speed, the air flow can cause the hood to come unlatched and flip open, slamming into your windshield and making it impossible for you to see forward. I personally RECOMMEND hood pins after seeing what has happened to several friend's cars, but the stock hood latch will maintain the hood at normal driving speeds (65mph and under). In any case, you won't need to worry since we'll be providing the hood pins for free.
