This is really hard to explain for me. Its been happening for quite sometime. It sounds like a ringing noise only between 2,000 - 2,500 RPM's. It happens all the time while accelerating, but I don't hear it while under hard acceleration, maybe because of the engine. I can be cruising in 5th in between 2 - 2.5K RPM, and I can hear the ringing noise, and I can play with it...meaning let go of the gas and you wont hear it, but press the gas again in that area and the noise is there.
Its not that loud, but loud enough to hear with the radio off. Also, "ringing" is the only way I can describe the noise. And if you need me to clarify anything please let me know.
