When the car is going around 40mph or faster and the vent selector is in the off position there is MAJOR wind noise coming from what sounds like the the middle bottom of the windshield. The wind noise is minimal if I turn the selector to anything but the off position. It's weird and annoying. Thanks

Excellent question. I'm not sure of the answer. I'll do the same to mine and see if I get it. Could be your door isn't closing on the firewall that seperates outside air from entering car (recirculation).
Sorry I can't help, but it's very interesting....and annoying I can relate.

Has the windshield been replaced? When mine was done (before I got the car) they did a crappy job. It leaks air (and water) on the bottom. When the heater (or A/C) is on, it pushes air out of the car there so you can't hear the windnoise.

I usually only notice mine at 60+ though.
