I've only replaced the tires on my car once when I went from the stock Eagle F1 GS's to the KDW's, but I purchased them through
Tire Rack and will continue to do so in the future. I'd browse the site and see what the user ratings are for the tires your looking at, and call Luke when you're ready to order. He's great to deal with and my tires showed up in 3 days.
Don't know much about the P7000's, but the info that Tire Rack has on them can be found
here and by clicking on the Review and Test buttons at the top of that page.
I think Pete had the P7000's on his previous wheels, so he can probably give you a good commentary when he sees the thread.
