Definately the Optima has capacity to spare. Long life is also a plus, IMHO. I have had one in my 400 cubic inch V8 GMC VanDura for 10 years now. Also 8 years in my VW GTI (mounted remotely in the rear, to provide a little more weight bias to the rear) w/o an issues. These are nice batteries.
