The ABS light comes on if there is a big difference in speed readings between the 4 hubs. Spinning your wheels for an excessive amount of time will trigger an ABS light.
Just like the grease monkeys here put my Tour on the treadmill for the NYS Emissions inspection, it triggers an ABS code when the rear hubs aren't spinning when the front hubs are doing 55 MPH. I got the same thing as you right now and I got to figure out how to get rid of it.
I am guessing, but if you reset your PCM, it may take care of the ABS light as well. I haven't tried my OBD-II scanner yet, so I can't tell you if it will work. I'll look it up in my Ford CD Manual and post here what I find.
