Is there anyone in the Iowa,Nebraska,South Dakota area that still does 3.0L conversions? What happened to brad noon?

Brad is no longer doing them, but buckshot is going to do them. In the general forum there was a message from brad about him closing his doors and who to contact to get things done from now on, and it included an email I believe.

Yup, I'm doing the 3L conversions now. Are you looking for an entire job including the swap and all or just need someone to get the short block prepped for you. buckshot, if u prep the 3l block what does that entail. and past that, what would the installing shop need to do.

3L block prep includes- filling the oil return holes for use with 2.5 heads, cutting off several tabs that aren't needed or are in the way for the re-install, taking apart the rods and mains to check bearing tolerances, replacing bearings with upgraded ones if desired, light honing of the piston bore, new rings if needed, reassembly of short block and install of new rear main seal. The shop doing the install must finish building the motor as this is shortblock only (I can do long blocks or full motors as well if you wish), install the flywheel, clutch, trans, etc and drop everything into the car.

iowa is far away but if i were to do an upgrade like this, i wouldn't mind sending the car out there if the job is done right. thats always my #1 priority and concern. might cost more but cheaper than paying for a second 3l. thanks for the answer.
