well I was looking at my car today and you cant fit 3in hose in the fender so I ran mine down by the fans and just put the filter down there but you will want to add a second small filter in front of the screen you have for your intake to stop an possible water entering the engine otherwish you will be in a world of hurt cause last time I checked water isnt compressible
