Well that and I now have some good bumper sag along with a bumper that doesn't quite line up with the rest of the car's bum. Oh well. Hopefully it shouldn't take more than a couple of days to get fixed up.

Rich. I'm glad you're O.K. To bad the Focus is fucused. I agree on what is being said on Focaljet. You can expect the resistance to a reduced charge to be minimal in court. Yes officers are paid to be in court. However as the Cop told you to fight it makes for a good indicator that he didn't fully beleive in the ticket he was writing. The police are required to write said tickets unless it is very apparent the the accident had nothing to do with you. If the officer can't prove that you did not commit an offense then you need to offer the proof or commentary citing as such. I wouldn't worry yourself sick over this. You may lose a few points but I doubt that you'll lose a full 6. Just remember as well this is why you have insurance. Cars can be replaced but people can't be. (well at least not yet) Good luck.

I've got people looking into my matter. I figured the costs now would save my bacon in my insurance rate later. The worst thing is I kept focusing on the lights. Dang...my greatest weakness I got some outsourcing for parts. The car is at the dealer now waiting for the adjuster to look at things.

Now my major worry is insurance. I know, that's what they're there for. However, when you live on your car, you can't afford to be stupid. Luckily, I have a whole wack of yazb beating my head silly with "don't worry"
