If you do not want a racing stripe, I recommend lifting a corner up on each door first to make sure you have the proper layers of paint. I have a racing stripe on one of my rear doors, but I'd rather have the body side mouldings off anyway.

I agree, I think my car still looks sharper without the moldings.

ditto (but mainly at nite), i got racing stripes on every door. that makes my car faster.
