hey I was wondering if you all could post the pics of your silver contours with any kind of tint , and label how much and what kind it was . I am trying to figure out what tint I want , and about how much I should be spending . Thanks alot!

i dont have any pics..sorry..but on my zetec i went with 20% all around and it really looks nice. it was a definite plus for the look of the car..i paid about 140 bucks...

It all depends on what type of job you want on your car. You could do it yourself for cheap or go somewhere and get it done. I got 5% all around and it was about 200 on my green tour. I might look into mirror tint or something though with a silver car.

i got 50% blue tint on my 98 silver svt and it looks very nice. alot of good comments on it! although it doesnt do alot for blocking the sun but no 50% tint would. 50% is legal here. i bought the tint and had a shop do the install for 100$ for all 5 windows.

I have 20% in my truck and del sol. If you start going darker you won't see [censored] at night,you'll be rolling down the windows when you back up. But, 5% looks sweet, otherwise look into mirror tint.

I have 20% tint on my black SVT. I will post pics tomorrow from work, got to put them on the company website(free for as long as I want)  Joe

I personally liked going with the 10 percent just on the rear glass, and then like 35 percent on the sides. Then I wouldn't get that closterphobia feeling while driving, but yet, I still had awesome privacy and it wasn't too bright inside. Back window is where most of your sun comes in during the middle of the day, since that window has the most incline, so it was the one I wanted darkest.

I have a 98.5 black SVT with 5% tint all the way around.. I absolutely love it... it makes driving at night a little more difficult because it is harder to see... I think the mirror tint on the sliver SVTs look very nice

i have limo all the way around on my silver svt,and i love the way it looks.....i do agree however it does make it harder to see out of the sides at night,but worth it as far as looks go....i personally hate the silver tint,and i think that limo tint on a silver car looks a million times better than silver tint does....

I have smoke grey 35% on the sides and rear. Not too dark that the police will mess with me but dark enough that you can't really see much especially at night. Tint is a nice privacy feature as well as sunblock.  Make sure if you get it done at a shop they give you a warranty against flaws in the tint and application. Haven't needed to get mine redone but peeling and bubbling tint is a no no.
