Nope,
A VERY well prepared car and a very talented driver. Compare his results in the indexed numbers and he still does very well with a not so great index.
Not to mention the driver was probably close to 300#. He probably wouldn't fit a Mustang.

Even as it is now that car is probably still faster in a straight line than anyone in this posts car.
I like Impalas, even that one. I'm not a fan of the silver tint and the wheels are too big imo, 20s would be enough. If I could find one in my area in good condition I would take it in a heartbeat.

Look at the grille. I love Impalas , but I dont remember a grill like that . IT may be a caprice in disguise . I have seen many of those . I would also love to have an Impala. Pure AMerican Muscle Sedan( the new ones SUCK!!, but the marauders nice  )

The Impala's had the Corvette motor, but with iron heads instead of Aluminum which makes for most of the lost hp. They are fast though. My friend has a 9C1 Cop car with the LT1 and we put a Camaro 6-speed in last year. When I had my 300hp Mustang, he wasn't far behind. Once he installs his 4.10's and gets the 2.73's out, it will definitly help to get that hog of a car moving. I think an Impala is the only Chevy I'd ever think of owning.
