WTH causes that? It isn't the belt. It doesn't seem to be either of the plastic shrouds on either side. It's usually a fairly quick, light "tck-tck-tck-tck". If I put my hand between the seat and backrest and put pressure between them it will usually go away. Also, I never hear it when a person is sitting there. Could it be one of the springs inside? It's maddening I tell you - MADDENING!!

Mine does too. And ever since I put down the folding rear seats a couple months ago the damn things are very noisy. In spring I am going to track it all down and fix it.
I think my rear seat squeak is the leather from the lower and bottom rubbing together.

I'd considered the possibility of leather-on-leather doing it (sounds kinky, eh?).

Im glad to know that it's not only my seats doing that. Wait, that doesn't sound right..... My seats are cloth though, and they aren't the fold down type. So those are ruled out as possibilities for my situation. I thought it might have something to do with the brake light. Something loose in their maybe? Just a thought. -Rob

Count me in, the rear STB helped the seats a little, but now on deceleration, there is a vibration noise that sounds like it is coming from either my passenger rear seat or shock tower. It makes me crazy.

My front passenger seat does this too, did you ever find out why? I just noticed mine this morning while taking my car in to get the secondaries fixed.

Not yet. I guess this weekend I'll rip it out and see if I can find any clues.
