get on the yahoo zetec mailing group. there are ways to disable vct w/o CEL. vct screws you over when trying to add power because you really can't tune the way vct works. atleast this is what i understand about it. plus getting a focus supercharger to work on vct engine would be easier just to disable the vct.

Oh well. I feel no difference between a Focus Zetec and mine with the VCT. I am going to keep on modding anyway.

what do you mean you feel no difference?  and not trying to discourage your modding at all. there are plenty of vct zetecs out there going fast, though many people seriously modding their vct zetecs disable the vct. that's all i'm saying.

You know I plan on seriously modding mine but I am NOT disconnecting the VCT! I don't think it affects anything. I am out to prove something.
