Since winter weather is here my car has developed the "moose". Also, some mornings when I start my car (99 SVT) it starts right up but won't idle. The dealer says it's probably the idle control valve sticking. Is the idle control valve the same as the IAC? Anyways, this morning it did something different. It started up ( which I couldn't believe because it was 17 degrees) and I let it warm up about 4 minutes. I was backing out of the driveway and everytime I cut the wheel to the right, I get this loud moosing sound and the engine would die. I tried it several times and everytime I turned the wheel to the right, the engine would stall. Anyone had this problem or might know what it is?
