Keith: I've got a '99 csvt and the moose is LOUD.
I put a 7/32 hole in the cap & it is cured 95%.
I may open the hole further as cold idle speed is only 1500 rpm, I'd like it higher slightly.
BTW, does your timing chain rattle at cold startup? That is something else I'm working on via the hole size and oil/oilfilter combos... to reduce that noise at cold start.
