Warped rotors will cause a pulsation in the pedal, if thats what you mean by a shudder then i'd look into either new rotors or turning your existing ones if possible. i personally replace my rotors over turning them but sometimes economics is a bigger issue. if that's not what you mean by a shudder, i'm not sure what it would be.
