I remember someone asked a while ago about how the S-03's did in the snow, and I can now tell you, they are not pretty. We only got 2 inches here on Christmas Eve in DC, but before they had plowed and salted, my car was all over the place! I wasn't the only one with problems (there were cars spun out on this highway), but I was coming up to a tollbooth and could not stop - I was only going about 10 MPH - ABS was useless and couldn't steer but somehow worked the car over two lanes to an open tollbooth and screeched to a stop in front of the gate.

Then, on the road, the car kept sliding onto the shoulder at 25 MPH, and I kept going slower until I was only going about 15 MPH - the slowest car on the road - but only in other car tracks. Couldn't make it up a hill on my friend's street and had to abandon on the side of the road and trudge up. My friend's Jetta (just FWD) made it up no problem, so I know it was the tires.

So, I have now learned my lesson. Hope this helps someone out.
