Well I am please to report that the moose has gone. As mentioned I replaced the parts with
those mentioned in the TSB at a cost of $202 (Can). The time required to do the fix was about 30 minutes. Hopefully I won't ever have people looking at me strangely when I drive. I will keep you updated if the moose returns.
