Merry Christmas everyones!!!

I'm a new CEGR'S but i'm registered on the site CCMQ has Ford maniac like here. My written english is not perfect but it will be the good time to practice it...

I'm the new ownwer of Pascal's CSVT 98 silver frost since early october . I already experience the power and the sex appeal of these car . But now with the winter , on steel rims with ski support on the top it's a bit less atractive . I hope spring will come early

When the spring will be there definately, I will change my stock exhaust for a custonm exhaust, so a glasspack resonator, a Y pipe and 2 beautiful and probably noisy mufflers all in Stainless, the brand is Bosal Brospeed Prosport . All this with 2 1/4" pipes. My windows will gets tinted in blue and I will have to purchase 4 brand new tires Toyo T1-S 225/40ZR18 . I will also check for a camber kit. I think it's expensive but to save my tires with the lowered suspension I will have no other choice..

I, m very proud of my car, it's my baby... Everyone don,t be shy and give me your feedback.

Hey, and welcome to the club!
I'm VERY familiar with that car, mainly because I did a great deal of the work on the modifications on it with Pascal.
Are you having a problem with the camber on it? I find that strange, seeing as Pascal never really had a problem with tire wear...

Don't be shy, I'd be happy to give you any advice on the car, I have quite a few mods on mine myself.

Oh, BTW, what size steel rims did you get for winter? Those front brakes are pretty big...

Hi NVS, Mystique, you know, I had a Mystique V6 before the CSVT. It was a 99 with CD4E transmission, with all options excpt the traction control, it was a beautifull car but I think I,m not old enough to own one of this kind. For sure it was a mystique stock , no mods except for the sound system.

Your Mystique is so nice man, I hope I will see you one day. I,m a very big fanatic of Contour and I,m a mechanic so if I wanna modify my car It will be easy for me.

Yeah , I have problem with the camber, the tires that I will remove from the whells next spring are beared by the inside, it,s scrap. The wear is also in diagonal that means that the caster is no good too. Do you know about the possibility of a camber kit for the rear struts, I checked on BAT or CTA motorsports and it seems that only the front ones are available.(300$ for a front kit)

For winter, I put 15" steel rims but I put back the OEM front brakes. Pascal gave me the calipers with holders so I bought new disc and pads for a Cougar it,s the same except for the wires on the pads that I cut.

Next spring it will be the time to do a really sporty car with my SVT. I will change plugs, plug wires, clean the upper and lower intake manifold and buy an air Intake kit.
I will probably need your help for a couple of things

Do you speak french, moi je parle en francais et je suis pas mal plus a l'aise dans cette langue d'ailleurs. We could talk about that on the CCMQ. Are you member on that site ,what's your name ?

See you boy
