OP 98_SVT_LEO Junior Member 9 Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 19 North Florida	Okay this usually happens in first and second gears. My 98 only has 33k miles...so I know the clutch is still a-ok. How/or what is the best fix for this problem. It keeps the RPM's up during those shifts. thanks

Carbon build up in the throttle body was causing the "butterfly" to stick. My dealership knew about the problem. It was about $100 to get it cleaned. Haven't had any problem since. I'm now pushing 72,000 miles. Good Luck, Tim Tim
