Aa stated above, as long as it's silver frost, it's alright in my book. Defiately rims though. And a dual exaust, maybe like a used SVT setup would look sweet

Yup, I see them too. Looks like the fabric top might be covering them a little, but they are still there.

Nope, Those are not the sail panels. No fake carbon fiber, no bumps. The factory sail panels also have that little rim in the window-side of them.

those are sail panels. .... and from that distance you can't tell if it has bumps or not. those very easily could be pre98 contour sail panels. (in any case, they are sail panels). also looks to me like it has the rim running all the way around it. (we may not be talking bout same rim).

The car is very clean, but is it possible to remove the top w/o any damage from the inital install? I mean I highly doubt that YOU would have installed it, along with the "bling-bling" wheelwell strips, right? Worse case sanario will probably be that you have to leave the top on, but the wheelwell strips gotta go, IMO

In response to the sail panels question, allow me to settle the issue. The car DOES have sail panels, but they are covered by the top. The smooth black flap that you see that resembles sail panels is in fact part of the ragtop install, but beneath the flaps are the stock sail panels, with little bumps and all (I had no idea what you guys were talking about at first until I peeked under the corner of one of those flaps).
The top came with a 3 year warranty (which expires May '03), so fixing the top is my main plan.
I would think that removing the top would be easy if I take it to the place that put it on, but I would most likely need the roof repainted, so I'm thinking $350-500 to take of the top. But I like it. In my opinion it makes the car look distinctive.
