i got the intake in christmas eve, installed it christmas eve, and love it. it sounds great, feels like there is more top end. just got my exhaust put on today and might get the resonator off tommorrow. is it terribly loud when that is removed? just out of curiosity. well, i sure do recomend the intake, shipped fast, and was easy to install. has a nice throaty sound when u really lay on it.

which resonator? (make sure you get the one outta the fenderwell, it will not make it much louder), if u mean the exhaust res, no it's not terribly louder. the only time mine is loud is downshifting at 3rd gear.

Makes me want to order one even more. Im trying to wait for the CAI though...

where is the one under the fender well, i saw the one that is right in front of the catalytic converter. thats the one i was going to remove. just out of curiosity, is this going to make it sound raspier or just sound the same way it does now, just louder? im aiming for louder, but sounding the same. well, thanks for all of the help. ill post some pics when i get a chance.

one in front of the cat?? now i'm confused. exhaust res is under car about middle ways down. fenderwell resonator is in the fenderwell, remove the lining, it's secured by one torx screw near the firewall side of things (still in the fender well), rest of it pops off of the air boot. pre98s have another that is located in engine bay.
