Actually, the SVT TB is a great first mod to a stock Contour SE. Throttle response was greatly improved, as was just about everything on the top end too. Of course I optimized mine before it went on, but it was my first "mod wave" along with the KKM. Since I took the KKM off a couple of times try to cure a MIL I was having at the time, I got plenty of time driving around with only the TB in place on an otherwise stock SE. It was my favorite of all of the mods I've done, even since then, because it simply transformed the car...
