I have a 2000 with 18,500 miles, thought I would freshen up the tranny fluid. I used the Ford syn. at $14.95 a quart without the friction modifier. I drove for a week with some improvement in overall shifting. I then added 2 oz of the friction modifier. Shifts much better than the stock ATF. First to second is alittle knotchy, but not every shift, seems to depend on the rpm's.
