Pull out the radio, the vacuum lines are right behind there... You might even be able to see it from the driver's footwell. Mine popped off and caused the very thing you are talking about.

That's definitely good to know! I thought you have to either go from the engine compartment or take out the heater core unit to replace the line, that's why I've been putting it off. It really sucks after I go skiing and my feet are cold, and there is absolutely no heat to the floor.

Just so you know the recall covers the resitor pack, but they also change out the wiring as well. The blower fan wiring can get hot and brittle and crack.

When ford did my car they did not cleanup their work. There were traces in wire strippings in several places, so they did do some wiring on my car.
