I'd advise putting them on a switched circuit that way you can turn them off when you see a cop...Saving a ticket is worth the extra wiring.

but yeah, as long as they match your car I see no reason why you shouldn't put them on

They aren't exactly "illegal" only certain colors of them are, like red, blue, purple, and green. But basically you can't have anything facing forward that isn't the color of your headlighs or signals so orange and white ones aren't really illegal; you may get stopped but they can't do anything to you. At least that's how the law is written up here in Okla. I have white and they are pure white, not blueish white, but pure ole' white light, they match my silverstars. I've had them almost a year or so and never once have I been stopped specifically for my washer nozzles.

Well here in Texas the red, white, and blue are illegal becuase thier police light colors? Like what dumbass is goign to think the nozels are police... the drunks? The way i see it getting the drunks to pull over off the road is a good thing. My friend got pulled over for his red ones and got a 90 dollar ticket and he asked what other colors where illegal. All he had to say was red, white, and blue are illegal. He even asked about my purple ones, and guess wht thier legal! Had them on for about a year now and nothing yet at least.

depends on state, here if they flash, then they're illegal, usually blue is illegal in most states but i know people with blue underbodies that you can see the tube (because it's on a high truck), and they don't get in trouble. but my friend got pulled over by state patrol that said they're illegal, but gave a verbal warning (i wonder why  ). probably just wanted to look at his new car. i've talked too many sheriff deputies and they say they're legal, and i know the city cops won't do anything about them here.
