I have found the chrome film can be easily removed w/ 1000 grit wet sanding or some laqure thinner. Be mindfull of this as you mask (which should be done with a 3M blue tape or another brands light tacky tape that barely grabs) and stuff. I left the reflector area with the chrome since I removed the amber reclector lense all together in hopes it'd look somewhat legal at night.
