Throttle hang is cheaper...about 5 cents is all it costs..
take a 1/2 inc copper cap, and a dill and your good to go.
Now the IAC fix is more costly but you get new parts, but the throttle hang would still be there(in my case).
You decided which is better. Personaly I like the throttle fix. cheaper, easier...and you don;t run into some complications.
In some rare cases the newer IAC valves cause loss in power in some SVTs 1999 and on.
The only down side to the Throttle hang fix that i can see is that depending on the season you may have to chage hole sizes to keep your idle constant.
