There is a bulletin out that extends the coverage to 150,000 miles. My Contour has 128,000 has never had the cats replaced and I am having it done next week for no charge.

I had the cat replaced once before the recall came out, then had the recall done on my 96 so they did replace the ex manifolds/precats,and then shortly after that the main cat had to be replaced again-but by that time I was on the extended emission coverage which up here in canada extends to 120K

Well, I can't find the info right now.....
Somewhere I read that Ford did agree to extend coverage to 150,000 miles for this cat recall. I mentioned this to the dealer and they nodded in agreement.....
If anyone finds this info, please let me know...meanwhile I'll keep looking.......
Thanks, BT
