I know this post is old, but I was looking through AllData and they have a TSB for Customer Interest. Isn't warrantied, but it will make your car alot quieter. The dealership can adjust your door and do a few other things to make the car quieter it states. They have several little test that can made done first to make sure that the adjustment will end up fixing the wind noise problem.
Just a suggestion, that I am going to look into.

JOe,
I was trying to look up the TSB that you referred to but I couldn't find it on Alldata. Do you have a TSB number or can you post the info. This wind noise is killing me.
Thanks,
George

I hear the same thing in my 'Tour. IMO, it's coming from the sides of the windshield. If you look outside at the sides of the windshield, you'll notice that the trim is indented where the glass goes under it. Once when it was cold and snowy, I packed some snow in there to make it taper from the windshield surface to the top of the trim and the noise went away. I've been thinking of filling that area with something to make it have that taper, but I can't decide what to use. I don't want it to look crappy. My .02 worth.

I tried the TSB but no luck. Basically the TSB consists of loosening the top hinge bolts and moving the door inward just slightly to create more contact with the door rubber trim. But I think that its just a very very poor fit and finish issue. The rubber trim does not appear to evenly sit around the door frame. There are places where its very tight and places where its very loose (on both sides of the car). Ive spent at least 2 hours now just trying to adjust the doors to get them to seat better and test driving. Its driving me crazy. I have a 98 SVT by the way...
