I'd have to agree, BUT, if you remember what a stock either Taurus SHO OR Contour 2.5L dyno looks like, look where the secondaries open up. You will see a little dip in torque, and hp, and then it comes back up, that is the loss of velocity if you will. Yes it recovers, but for that split second you've lost power. And if my head is right (just got up), if you crack them your power/torque will be down from the get go till roughly that point.
