Manual transmission, 3.0 Liter engine, 3000RPM stall converter... depending on how much $$$ you want to spend.

-Pull and clean your UIM/LIM/TB. While its off, optimize your TB and LIM (Counter sunk screws and all). If you're really bored, gasket match your UIM to your LIM. -New set of spark plugs. -SHO Y pipe. -Cold air set-up for your intake. -If your new exhaust retains the resonator and rear muffler, you'll keep the <3000rom power. The more free-flow your exhaust is..the further up the powerband your TQ will travel. Those are some cheap and easy mods you can do over the Holidays.

Sandman used to really hype-up cracking the secondaries. I know that if you do this your secondaries will open at 1500rpm giving you that little boost earlier than 3800rpm when they normally open up. It doesn't cost anything... except for the added gas expense becuase it uses a lot more gas and will kill your miles per gallon.

Cracking the sencondaries will not change the RPM (determined by the computer) where they open up. You'll just get a little bit of air past them when they are 'closed'. Some folks actually loose some low end by doing this, so it's best to experiment with different settings to see which works best for your tour. I noticed some nice low end gains from optimizing the MAF and flex honing / polishing the UIM. Both of these are really cheap and make a very noticable difference. PM me if you want details on how to do either one.
