Where can I get a sunroof console for a 99 SVT? This is the second the brackets have broken and my extended warranty no longer covers it.

Sorry for pulling this back from the past but this just happend to mine over the weekend. Is this fairly common? If so, I might just rig up some kind of metal bracket instead of replacing it. It might not look pretty but it will be covered anyway. I swear, I love my car but crap like this is why my next car will come from the other side of the pond! :rolleyes:

service manager at dealership told me 300 frog pelts to replace the one I have. went home and called the parts desk at the same dealership and they told me just the part was something like less than a hundred bucks. may buy the part and take it to a good ole boy shop to install.
