I got 274hp and 203tourqe with just a vortec and removed resonater, pretty much what you can expect with a vortech on a stock 2.5 svt.

thanks for the help mark. im sure ill need a few pointers since ive never done an engine swap before. and yes kinger, im doing a 3.0L and turbo. ill probably be coming to you for my rebuilt heads.
btw mark, what bumps are u having in your project?

Just frustrated, no real money to spend on additional engine management & parts, no longer have a dedicated shop area readily available for me to use when I want to work on the car. Not to mention it seems like I have yet to have any real good luck with it when trying to put down maximum hp numbers. I can drive the crap out of it on the street with no problems of any kind, once I go to the dyno (even after prep work and checks) the gremlins show up and something goes wrong or doesn't work the way its supposed to... just FN frustrating.
