just wanted to say hi , im new here i just bought a used 1998 contour se its blue and is a 5speed not sure the real milage though the gauges say 36k but they are svt gauges, car runs great a little loud but not too bad. what would be some good stuff to do to speed this car up but maybe quite it down? Thanks

Does it say "SVT" on the Tachometer? If not, they are not SVT gauges.

the gauges say svt on them , il have to check it out i bought the car from this guy in napervile. any suggestions im new to this car?

joe is the guy i bought the car from i just picked it up yesterday , i called him to ask about the gauges and he explained it and told me the milage was in the door. he gave me a good deal i think.

Hey, welcome, I was thinking it was a joke, sorry.
I bet you got Joe's SE Sport with SVT gauges in it.
You could probably trade for a quieter exhaust with someone I am sure.

yeah its dark blue , and has a nice short shifter in it i love it ! it has 8 spoke 15 inch wheels and some pretty new tires on it
