I'm going to try that next, since it only shows wetness in the corners I can't help thinking it's coming in behind my corner lights somehow. My trunk has a seal foam applied inside the trunk in all the seams and corners (I don't know if that's factory, dealer or former owner applied), I've never had water in the well where my spare is either. I think I would notice water there if it was the gasket.
