Does anybody have close up pics of a painted centre section? I want to paint mine, but i'm not sure how: A) paint matches to OE paint job B) how to make the paint realy really smooth
Any ideas?

Do you have access to a paint gun? That's the only way to do it. Invest in an air compressor or you don't have one already and get yourself a paint gun. Probably the best investment I have made in a long time. Mine has only been used to prime and paint models for design studios at cool but it works beautifully. Also pay attention to air conditions. I dont really know the ins and outs but air quality can be a large factor and should be consider.

Thanks for the input. I'm borrowing my buddies paint facility, but we don't have colour matching equipment

A good paint supply store can match it and mix it up for you.

I painted mine. I used paint from paintscratch.com. Came out pretty good and it matched great.

I got mine painted when I got my Spoiler painted. I think it looks good. The boys at the dealership thought it would look dumb but loved it when it was done.

Yeah, my friends thought it would look dumb, too. But when I was finished, they really liked it.
