Incorrect!

AWSF32PP or Autolite APP764 are recommended by this site. (AWSF32PP or AWSF32F are original depending on year - another Ford decontenting IMO! )

AGSF style plugs have a slightly longer end that sticks into the chamber a bit more. They dealership will try to sell you these for any Duratec even though they have only superceded the 3L Duratec (all years) and are stock in 01 & newer 2.5L Duratecs.

While I will gladly state NGK makes excellent plugs they sadly do not make any double platinum plugs for the Duratec. Expect to change them 2 maybe 3 times as often as the listed double platinum plugs. More often yet if you are chipped!

Ouch!! My hand is still stinging from that one!!!

I stand corrected....but I did know that, cause we all participated in a plug discussion about 6 weeks ago?

I'm running NGK single plats...and love'em. The AWSF-32pp caused my car to stumble (as has been beaten to death already) and simply changing to the NGKs cured this.

I replaced the the 32f's in mine with AGSF 32PPM. the car has never run better, bottom end feels much better and mileage has approx. 3-5 mpg better trips & town.
The ford parts man told me this is what's listed now. 32 is the heat range so no problem there.
Send the 32fm's back and go to Autozone and ask for the AGSF 32PPM. I didn't have to replace wires either.
Since going to these plugs the Mis-fire monitor on the OBD-2 is 0% now, before Hmmmmmmmmm forget, but not enough to set the CEL. 3-4% I think before, it must be correct, since the mileage has improved greatly. So has the seat of the pants feel MUCH better.

Oh yes Autozone will list the 32F also, tell them to forget that and give you the 32PPM's. This is the same plug that fits the 4.6 V-8. Fords trying to use this in all engines, with 14.7 to 1 air to fuel to keep the cats happy the 32 will work.
simplifies things. This decripition is very simple and basic, but it is the gist of the senario.

No. Single platinum, fine wire.
