my car was sleeping now since november! well it was a nice day so I took her out and while i was at it I installed my bassani! it sounds sweet as hell. Well anyways i was drving in downtown cleveland and got pulled over because the cop said aftermarket exhasuts were illegal in cleveland!! lol wtf is that??? while tht prick was at it he slapped on a 35 in a 25! but he never clocked me he "paced" me! thats bull****! especially because i was going between stop signs that were no more than 500 feet apart! f in cops!!!!

why would aftermarket exhaust be illegal??they are supposably "not tolerated" in montana..but all the airmen on base have thier ricemobiles and they have em...never seen one ticketed...

Aftermarket exhaust CAN NOT be illegal. He might be able to get you for noise, but not for type/brand, provided you meet smog/noise specs he's full of ****!. Millions of cars have aftermarket exhausts on them that are not OEM parts. Thread name is right on total BS! Measure the distance from the first stop to the second. Excatly. then fight the ticket in court. ask the Cop how long he paced you. I'm betting he couldn't have paced you for such a short distance, he'd have been accelerating to catch you, not following at the same speed. Judges get pissed at cops who waste their time, and this sounds like a perfect opportunity to go to court and win! Fight it fight it fight it

Bull **** !!! And did he put down "paced" on the ticket as the method of determining speed? Both of those should be able to be "beaten" pretty easily. If you don't feel confident enough to take it on yourself, pm me. I'll give you a number of a very good lawyer who has helped me and several friends with REAL citations in the past. He's in Cleveland, if you're interested. If you choose to go it alone good luck to you!! Sure hope you fight it either way...
