Here is what I am thinking....
This HU... http://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/S-Qy3IWcpL48t/ProdView.asp?s=0&c=3&g=300&I=500CDA7892&o=m&a=1
Have found this HU for $224 on another website, and then there is always ebay where I could get it for about $200.
And then 4 6x9s for the doors. I know this is way off from what you suggested, but I am a novice in this field. And what you seemed to give was a complete system for really cheap. I am thinking that I will eventually want to upgrade and I am a man that likes quality over quantity. Do you think this is a good idea? If so, i need to find some 6x9s that would give me a full range of sound(nice highs and lows) and a decide amp if necessary that won't break the bank. I am willing to go a little over $350 if needbe.
Thanks for all your help.

Well,
The original system I proposed was a little over budget. But, the tweeters are very nice, the mids are quite composed, but they are a little boomy (not a bad thing for a door speaker). You won't find a much better sub than the Lambda even at 2-3 times the cost.
If you really wanted to upgrade in the future, the Bazooka amps are about the only thing I would be looking at.
The HU recommendation was just one that I originally thought fit the budget. The Alpine is an excellent choice.
If you know for sure that you aren't going to be willing to spend 450, I sent you a PM with an alternative.
I guess I just want to stress that the sub and speakers I recommended weren't recommended on quantity over quality. The quality of the drivers ranges from good to excellent.

dont have to take it off, it just pops down - opens further than usual, know what i mean?. i think i heard someone saying that there was some kind of a release, but i just pushed mine down really hard and it closed back up again fine. AFAIK, the only ones with the amp are the ones with "premium sound" or the cd player, but its just as easy to check. its a small silver box.
now officially a troll, i guess. used to have a black 96 SE, until it broke down one too many times.
now I'm hunting for a motorycle.

Alright, the HU has been bought. Now it is time for me to find two pairs of 6x8s to mount in the doors. ebay looks night as far as prices go, but I don't know what I should get. Figure $110-160 for price range. Suggestions highly apreciated. These will be run in the internal amp in the HU as suggested by dnewma04. It would be nice of these speakers would hit pretty nice and also give out the highs. Something I can be content with before the amp and sub come into play later. Also, after buying the HU from www.etronics.com(done) and the speakers from what will most likely be ebay, what else will I need to purchase to be able to install?

I'd suggest ordering the HU installation kit from Crutchfield. It comes with all of the cables you need, HU removal tools, the factory amp bypass, and detailed instructions. It costs about $20. As for some drop-in speakers, I'd consider the Crystal CSX570 coaxials at $62/pair. The dedicated outboard crossover is a really nice feature, and everyone who's used them has had very positive comments about them.

Alright, here is another question... factory speakers are located in the rear doors. That seems kind of odd to me, would it make sense to install the new speakers in the rear deck? It this even possible?
And I am leaning towards 6x9s in the front.
I like these a lot http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1944632430
And maybe these in the back. Honkeytonk Monkey(Luke) says it is a waste to put money into the back seats. He is also saying componants are the way to go. This is a tough decision. What do I do?
Am I going to have difficulties installing these and do you think they will clear? I am no affraid to cut and quiet "handy" if that helps.
Here is an image of the depth of the MB Quart DTC 169s. Will then fit depthwise?

Alright.... new deal. The HU has been bought. You have $200 to work with and I will do whatever is the best bang for my buck as long as you help me through it all(i.e. installation).
