And I just bought those tires in 225/55s a couple of months ago. Unless I am brain-dead, this is a new development.

You are correct as it is a new tire for that size. Not that it is a great tire, but it is a good value. I'd much rather take my chances with 225/50 personaly, but I know many who would not. Great find!

Woops, I meant to say 225/50s on mine.
Very true about the tire, good value, but doesn't touch the OE BFGs.

Luke, I've stopped even searching that size, since the selection has been so pitiful, unless you wanted to double your tire cost. I had not noticed, and this is good news.

What does tireracks warrenty cover on tires purchased from the website. I have a Kuhmo Esta 712 215/45/17 tire that looks like it may of lost the seal to the rim. I may need to return it it has less than 500 miles on it.

When this happened to me I was told to visit a local rep for that specific tire. They would look at it and tell me if it was a manf. deffect or a road hazard. That's one prob. with ordering mail order. No place to take it back to and bitch.
