with revised internals, new crank, lowering the compression=SC. I wouldn't do it any other way for the reasons you mentioned. . .I understand the heating issue, but bumpin' displacement and SC'ing is done in other engines, would I need a heavy duty WP to make up for the oven under the hood? Is that particular hybrid block (3L bored and stroked to 3.5) susceptible to detrimental thermal expansion? oh, and to answer why, HP

Listen to Demon, you DO NOT want to run FI on a 3.5L, instead take the cost of the 3.5L conversion run a 3L with a turbo with upgraded guts and enjoy 500-600 hp. That 3.5L is going to be HELLA expensive and a time bomb IMO.

Rick and you guys may get the chance with mine come Summer...
I've e-mailed Rick about this route, but I'm going to build up the transmission on mine before ANY engine work is done.
I'm really interested in your thoughts and impressions on this setup. Once tuned, it sounds like it's going to run like a raped ape.
Yeah Rick mentioned that. Not a problem I got the trans at the same time as the build up because it just makes sense. I'm hoping for raped ape speed

Listen to Demon,
trust me, I listen to the man, I KNOW he knows what he's talking about, I was just asking questions. . .no one's thrown a tc on a 3L yet, that would be very torquey, and nice. . .3L+tc or sc is a more viable option right now anyways, I'm just going to start with square one, finding a reliable shop. . .

Update:
Its alive again, that non-fuel line blew like an A-bomb, so now that its replaced with fuel line she runs like a top, just need to get some miles on her tommorrow and Saturday we'll slowly take her past 4000 rpm to see if the chip works! So far so good!

Let me get this straight, you guys threw some regular hoses on for the fuel line??? Were you guys out of your mind? Good thing the lines blew before you ran it longer and didn't catch on fire.
