Have you removed a fuel pump before??? The rubber lines had no risk of fire or explosion, only pressure failure. We knew we would have to replace it very soon anyway, but we had to get it running enough at the time to just get it out of the garage at the very least... We're surprised and happy that it lasted as long as it did and failed WHEN and WHERE it did (Rick's driveway). High pressure line is now in there, no worries.
