Yeah, that little clip was a giant PITA. I broke mine
but it's rigged up and still works. Kinda ghetto, but it works and should continue to work. It took me a while to figure out that the clip is supposed to "snap" open just a little bit.
BTW, mine broke cause it was super cold out. So, warmer working conditions is better.
